As your State Senator I have worked across party lines to fix the problems facing our state by uniting people around common sense solutions.  I believe that Oregon is at its best when we put aside our differences and come together around the common goal of making Oregon a better place to live and work.

Every day I enter the capitol I stand in awe of the wisdom of our countrys founders to create a representative, open and accessible form of government with all the checks and balances of the Executive, Legislative, and Judicial branches.  It has been an honor to serve as your State Senator and I ask you for the privilege to serve again.  It is a job that takes passion, patience, diligence, time, and life experience.  As a retired businessman, I have been willing to apply these qualities to serving my district and the state of Oregon and am willing to do so in the future...
